What a phenomenal weather weekend it was! No other way to say it. Pleasant highs in the 60s, dry skies, and lots of sunshine made for a picture-perfect stretch of weather! Unfortunately, as we look ahead for the upcoming work week, changes are just around the corner. First, let’s talk about Monday. It’s another great weather day. A mix of sun and clouds prevail with warm highs in the 60s to right around 70 degrees. Not bad at all! Changes are set to arrive through Monday night as clouds start increasing into Tuesday. Our next system will edge closer to the region while throwing some scattered showers our way. Rain chances will hang around through Tuesday afternoon, but washout conditions are not expected. Warmer temperatures surge back into the 70s Wednesday with a small chance for a few isolated showers and storms. Again, a washout rain is not expected. However, more widespread rain and storm chances take over Thursday as a stronger system develops and cruises into town. Breezy winds, heavy rain, and storms will all be likely with this set up for the day. Drier skies take over early Friday morning with cooler highs in the lower 60s. As of now, the weekend starts dry with highs in the 60s before another system could potentially move in Sunday. This would bring more rain chances into the region starting Sunday morning!
