UofL’s Jordan Nwora picked 45th in NBA Draft by Milwaukee Bucks

University of Louisville forward Jordan Nwora is headed to Milwaukee.With pick No. 45 in the second round of the 2020 NBA draft, the Milwaukee Bucks selected Nwora, the only Cardinal in the mix this year.Nwora is also the first UofL player taken in the draft since 2018.When we spoke to him months ago about entering, Nwora said he had been working on his ball-handling skills and quickness, and believes some of the scrutiny he received from fans, as well as the mental grind he endured in the ACC, helped him get to the next level.Nwora’s selection came late Wednesday.The 22-year-old Nigerian-American spent three seasons with the Cardinals. He averaged 18 points per game. As a junior, he was runner-up for ACC Player of the Year.He’s the only player in the conference to rank in the top ten in scoring, rebounding, free throw percentage, field goal percentage and three-pointers made per game.
