Southland Park shooting leaves victim in hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, LMPD says

A man is in critical condition after he was found shot multiple times Tuesday in the Southland Park neighborhood, police said.The shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of Southside Drive, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.Investigators said 3rd Division officers found a man in his late 20s-early 30s with what appeared to be several gunshot wounds.The victim was taken to University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.The LMPD’s major crimes unit is handling the investigation.This is the second shooting investigation of the evening in Louisville.
