A man in Southern Indiana was arrested after police say he stole a vehicle, crashed it into another vehicle and stabbed the driver.According to the Columbus Police Department, around 6:30 a.m. Friday police officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Lincoln Park Drive in regards to a woman who was being attacked after someone crashed into her car. Once officers arrived they say the suspect fled on foot from the scene.Officers provided care for the victim, who was stabbed during the assault. The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where she is currently in stable condition.Officers were able to find the suspect hiding in a nearby residence. Police later discovered the suspect had stolen the car he crashed. The investigation is ongoing and police have not identified the suspect.
