That officer was not hit by gunfire, but had minor injuries from the crash

A Louisville Metro police officer is injured, after being shot at and ran off the road on I-65, in south Louisville.It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday, near the Fern Valley Road exit.That officer, who was driving an unmarked Ford Explorer, says someone in another vehicle opened fire, causing him to lose control and hit the center divider wall.The driver continued to drive away, and no arrests have been made. Police say that officer, who has not been identified, had minor injuries from the crash, but is expected to be okay.
