Hoosiers 80 and older can now receive COVID-19 vaccine

Registration is open for Indiana seniors 80 and older to receive the free COVID-19 vaccine.

Thousands of eligible Hoosiers have already registered to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. According to state health officials, 33,500 Hoosiers age 80 and older registered for the free COVID-19 vaccines Friday, during the first day of eligibility for this age group. Among those registered, 21,000 people scheduled appointments in the first 90 minutes after registration opened. If you would like to register yourself or an eligible senior to receive the vaccine, visit ourshot.in.gov, or call 211 or one of Indiana’s Area Agencies on Aging for help.
